Pacific Patterns, aka Chris Peterson, has found success through developing modern electronic music around the rhythms and sequences of our natural world. As the URL and IRL draw closer together, we must all find ways to establish a balance. For Peterson, Pacific Patterns is the perfect channel toward finding this balance.
Residing in Portland, Oregon, Peterson has utilized Pacific Patterns as a way to jumpstart the underground club scene. He has brought new life to dance floors as resident DJ for well renowned production crew Doki Doki, sharing the stage with the likes of Stooki Sound, Sweater Beats, Graves, Wave Racer, Prince Fox, Zeke beats, Holly, and many more. After garnering massive support from the local community, Pacific Patterns was offered his debut festival performance at this year’s What The Festival. This marked a massive achievement for the project and has pushed his sounds even further into unexplored territory.
Pacific Patterns has released music on notable Pacific Northwest record labels Phuture Collective, STYLSS, and CODA. He has also released music internationally, having been tapped by powerhouse German bass imprint, Saturate Records.
