Featuring members of Hamsa Lila and Dirtwire, The Dogon Lights combine elements of Funk, Hip Hop, Shamanic, African, Rock, and Electronica. They are all highly-respected musicians in the West Coast Festival Scene, individually performing with such acts as Bassnectar, Beats Antique, Rising Appalachia and opening for Tinariwen and Bombino.

Members include:

BONGO SIDIBE - Guinea native and master Djembe drummer, Sidibe adds his infectious rhythmic fire to The Dogon Lights sound. He is a dynamic performer, in addition to being a renowned percussion teacher.

VIR MCCOY (Hamsa Lila, Radio Devil) - A multi-instrumentalist, McCoy plays the camel skinned sintir (a traditional instrument of the Gnawa of Morocco) and the goat skinned gimbri (a traditional Moroccan Berber and Arabic instrument), as well as electric bass and guitar.

EVAN FRASER (Dirtwire, Stellamara, Hamsa Lila) - Skilled in a wide range of instruments from all over the globe, Fraser plays the kamale ngoni, kalimba, illimba, berimbau, calabash, zabumba, ney, jaw harp, slide guitar, and keyboards. And just about everything else you could imagine.

IAN "INX" HERMAN (Hugh Masakela, Vusi Mathlasela, Hamsa Lila) - A native of South Africa, Inx plays the traps to anchor the The Dogon Lights with a funky bottom.

ASHEL SEAZUNZ ( Earth Amplified, Bassnectar) - Seazunz lends his rhymes and lyrics as an MC and Rapper.
